The Doctor as Key to Identifying and Caring for Child Victims of Abuse and Neglect – training and practical skills 2021/22
Elective course for second and third year medical students.
The course is comprised of 14 sessions designed to train medical students and teach practical skills for evaluating and caring for child victims of abuse and neglect (children at risk). Doctors frequently encounter child victims, and are required to evaluate and provide professional care.
Coordinated and partially delivered by Haruv Institute educators, incorporating guest speakers and medical specialists on child abuse and neglect. This combination enhances the curriculum and utilizes specialists’ practical experience in the field.
