Hanita Kosher, Ph.D

Dr. Hanita Kosher is a faculty member at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Hanita’s research and teachings focus on issues relating to children’s well-being, children’s rights, and child abuse and neglect. Hanita also has vast experience working in the field as a social worker. Between 2019 and 2021 Hanita served as the Director of Knowledge and Development in “A Home for Every Child” in Israel – an NGO that provides therapeutic services for abused and neglected children and their families. Between 2007 to 2015 she was the director of the education center of the National Council of the Child, which is the leading advocacy organization for children’s rights in Israel.
