Gal Avni – Barlev
Coordinator of Social Work Programs
She has B.A. and M.A. degrees in social work from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, and is currently a doctoral student at Haifa University.
She established the first child advocacy center in southern Israel – the Beit Lynn Center in Beer Sheba – and directed it between 2013-2018. Before that, she worked as a child protection officer in the city of Yerucham, where she also acted as staff director and superviser of social workers.
In addition to her other positions, she supervised social work students at Sapir College.
