Training programs for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Medical Students

In collaboration with: The School of Medicine, Hadassah Ein-Kerem

Goal: To familiarize the students with the field of maltreated children and understand the role of the doctor and medical team.

Target Population: Medical students

Number of Sessions: 15

Number of Participants: 44 2nd and 3rd year medical students and 120 4th year medical students.

Location: Hadassah Hospital, Ein Kerem, Jerusalem

One-Day Seminar for Fourth-Year Medical Students, Hadassah Ein-Kerem

Goal: To expose medical students to issues related to abuse and neglect, prior to their entering the various wards.

Target Population:  Fourth-year medical students

Number of Sessions: 1

Participants: 50

Course for Medical Students on the Abuse and Neglect of Children

In Partnership with: The Hebrew University

Goal: To teach medical students about issues related to child abuse and neglect

Target Population:  Second-year medical students

Number of Sessions: 14

Participants: 42

Training for Pediatricians in the Communities

In Partnership with: Goshen

Goal: To provide pediatricians working in the communities with tools and know-how in detecting, identifying and reporting child victims of abuse and neglect

Target Population: Pediatricians of Goshen

Number of Sessions: 2
